OBITUARY Yves Rene Paille of Robertsville, MO departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, having reached the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and twenty-five days. Yves was born in Marseille, France on August 23, 1954, son of Raymond Gerard Paille and Hermine Jane Paille nee Hassan On September 22, 1980 he was united in marriage to Donna Louise Ray and two children came to bless this union. Yves is survived by his wife, Donna Paille of Robertsville, MO; by his daughter, Rebekah Norton and husband, Vincent, of Alder, MT; by his brother, Michel Paille and wife, Maryann, of Imperial, MO; by his sister, Martine Gray and husband, Rick, of Freeport, FL; by his grandchildren, Auria, Mina and Elyza Williams; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Yves was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hermine Paille; by his son Raymond Paille. Yves was a Christian and member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Robertsville, MO. During his working career he was employed as a machinist at Sunnen Products in St. Louis, MO, retiring after thirty-five years of service to the company. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and watching the news on television. Yves had a talent for woodworking, fabricating his dining room table, various shelves and a wardrobe, all out of oak. What meant most to him was time spent with his family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Robertsville, MO with pastor Lane Allen officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church in Robertsville, MO.
