OBITUARY William David "Whit" Whitfield, 69, of Dittmer, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, peacefully at home with his loved ones. Born September 8, 1955, in Williamson, Georgia, to William "Billy" Whitfield and Janet Callahan, David was a longtime electrician with Brown's Electric. He was known for his laughter and outgoing personality, steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. He is survived by Fay Whitfield, the mother of his children; his son Wesley Whitfield of Saint Clair, Missouri; his daughter Whitney Whitfield (Bobby Menzel) of Dittmer, Missouri; granddaughters Charleigh Menzel and Giuliana Menzel; and step-grandchildren Lincoln and Elijah Vazquez. David was preceded in death by his brother, Little Larry Whitfield. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
