OBITUARY William Omeal Hutchison of Ballwin, MO departed this life at his home on September 10, 2025, having reached the age of ninety-one years, one month and twenty days. William was born in St. Clair, MO on July 21, 1934, son of Omeal William Hutchison and Edith Viola Hutchison nee Davis. On September 3, 1955 he was united in marriage to Peggy Ruth Martin and blessed to have three children. William is survived by his children, Cynthia Dial of Villa Ridge, MO, Melinda Murek and husband, David, of House Springs, MO and William Hutchison of Creve Coeur, MO; by his grandson, Clayton Dial of Villa Ridge, MO; by one sister, Sally Schaves of NC; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Omeal and Edith Hutchison; by his wife, Peggy Hutchison; by his son-in-law, Keith Dial; by his brother, James Hutchison; and by five sisters, Mary Ennis, Gloria "Dutch" Adams, Ruth Barker, Marge Watson and Norma "Jean" Bush. William was a Christian and member of The York Street Christian Church in Muskogee, OK. During his working career he was employed by National Lead Castings in St. Louis, MO for twenty-seven years, Brentwood Castings in St. Louis, MO and then owned and operated Meramec Castings for about twenty years. William loved spending time outside, bass fishing, turkey hunting, riding in his boat or traveling in his RV. He also loved studying the Civil War, working puzzles and working in his shop. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Pastor Tim Schulte officiating. His final resting place will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens in Union, MO. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
