OBITUARY Vicki Lynn Schneider of Union, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Friday, January 31, 2025, having reached the age of seventy-four years, seven months and twenty-five days. Vicki was born in Sikeston, MO on June 6, 1950, daughter of James Robert Eiceman, known to all as Robert, and Helen Lucille Eiceman nee Warthen. As a young woman she was blessed to have one daughter. On November 12, 1997 she was united in marriage to Thomas Louis Schneider and their families were joined as one. Vicki is survived by her husband, Thomas Schneider of Union, MO; by her daughter, Stephanie Chowdury and husband, Awesome, of Caseyville, IL; by her step-daughter, Deana and husband, John, of Wichita, KS; by her granddaughter, Salaya Chowdury; by her parents. Robert and Helen Eiceman of Maryland Heights, MO; by her brother-in-law, Bob Schneider and wife, Sheila, of Lake St. Louis, MO; by several other grandchildren, step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Vicki was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working career she was employed as a secretary at Mercy Hospital Creve Coeur, a Certified Nursing Assistant at Manor Grove Nursing Home in Kirkwood, MO and at Walmart locations in both Kirkwood, MO and Fenton, MO, retiring at age 62. Her father being in the military she travelled all over the world as a child, taking most of her early schooling in France. She enjoyed doing crochet, working crossword puzzles and being an animal lover, watching the birds and squirrels feed. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, step-grandmother, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Fred Wells officiating. Interment will be in Fisher Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
