OBITUARY
Terri Lynn Carr of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Louis, MO on Monday, March 9, 2026, having reached the age of sixty-six years, two months and ten days. Terri was born in Long Beach, CA on December 27, 1959, daughter of Howard Paul Hill and Barbara Mae Hill nee Swearingen. As a young woman she was blessed to have three sons. On June 5, 2015 she was united in marriage to Douglas Henry Carr in Farmington, MO.
Terri is survived by her husband, Douglas Carr of St. Clair, MO; by her sons, Jason Calvert and wife, Jessica, of Park Hill, MO, Chris Davidson and wife, Lana, of Sullivan, MO and Thomas Duro and wife, Katie, of St. Genevieve, MO; by six grandchildren, Morrigan, John Edward, Audriana, Ainsley, Molly and Macie; by other relatives and many friends.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Barbara Hill.
During her working career she was employed by St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO, now known as Mercy Hospital South, as a nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Clair Elks Lodge 2651 for over twenty years and volunteered at the Senior Center, Master Donuts and Agape House, all in St. Clair, MO. Terri loved raising flowers, going fishing and hunting, but most of all spending time with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever.
A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, Paralyzed Veterans or Franklin County Humane Society.
