Carlette was a Christian and member of Virginia Mines Baptist Church, now known as Memorial Baptist Church, in Lonedell, MO, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She made caring for her home and family her job in life and never tired of the task. Carlette had a variety of interests throughout her life including sewing, cooking, painting and enjoyed creating things like photo albums for family and friends. She was an avid reader, she loved to play games with the family and enjoyed researching family genealogy. She also had a wonderful collection of nativity scenes, which she enjoyed displaying during the Christmas season. What meant most to her was her time spent with family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
