OBITUARY

Stephan Michael Pursley passed away suddenly at St. Clare Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2026 His Dad came down from Heaven to meet him and took him by the hand to free him from pain and suffering, and lead him to his eternal rest and peace. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Pursley; by one brother, Vic Pursley and his wife, Sue; by two sisters, Noralene Pursley, and Barbara Mesey and her husband, Dan; by his aunt and uncle, Gina and Dennis Peters; by his aunt Norma Clark; and by many cousins and friends. Steve was a kind and gentle soul that has left a void in our hearts which will never be filled. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO with Father Pete Blake officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery in Luebbering, MO. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
