OBITUARY
Sandra Lee Love of Sullivan, MO departed this life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, having reached the age of eighty years, eleven months and eleven days. Sandra was born in Lonedell, MO on May 25, 1945, daughter of Bernice Frossard nee Huff and Elmer Frossard. On June 14, 1963 she was united in marriage to Walter Melton Love and four children came to bless this union.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Walter Love of Sullivan, MO; by her children, Jim Love of Sullivan, MO, Chris Eckert of Sullivan, MO, Jason Love and wife, Molly, of Marthasville, MO and Jeremy Love and wife, Tiffany, of St. Clair, MO; by her sister, Donna Counts and husband, Gary; by her brother-in-law, David Love and wife, Patty; by his sister-in-law, Peggy Love; by her grandchildren, Jaryn Hazel and husband, Kevin, Jessica Perkins, Jonathan Perkins, Madysen Love, Bailey Love, Jordan Whisenhunt, Chloe Snodgrass and husband, Jesse, Jace Downey and Gavin Downey; by her great-grandchildren, Hadley Hazel, Hudsyn Hazel, JayLynn White, Brooklyn Green, Kimber Manning and Logan Snodgrass; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Elmer Frossard; and by her son-in-law, Richard Eckert, Jr.; and by one grandson, Logan Whisenhunt.
Sandra was a Christian and member of Virginia Mines Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. She made caring for her home and family her mission in life and never tired of it. Sandra enjoyed working in her garden, cooking for the family and loved the family getting together at the holidays, especially at Christmas. Spending time with her family brought her great joy and she especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will forever be held dear in their hearts.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Pastor Dustin Love officiating, with Bryan Love assisting. Interment will be in New Chapel Hill Cemetery in Sullivan, MO. Memorials may be made to New Chapel Hill Cemetery Fund.
