OBITUARY Ronald Lee Evans of Lonedell, MO departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on October 19, 2022, having reached the age of seventy-nine years, one month and eighteen days. Ronald was born in Vienna, MO on September 1, 1943, son of Elmer Evans and Pearl Evans nee Matthews. On January 5, 1963 he was united in marriage to Joan Carol Thomure and daughter came to bless this union. Ronald is survived by his wife, Joan Evans of Lonedell, MO; by his daughter, Donna Pierce and husband, Rick, of DeSoto, MO; by one brother, Arnold Evans and wife, kay, of Rolla, MO; by his sisters, Shirley Glenn of Rolla, MO and Kathy Wilson and husband, Don, of Rolla, MO; by his grandchildren, Amanda Thomas and husband, Matthew, of the state of KY, Shane Wilson of Dittmer, MO and Kayla Wilson of Arnold, MO; by his great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Thomas and Aria Wilson; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Pearl Evans; and by one brother, David Evans. During his working career he worked primarily out of the union hall of Bricklayers Union Local 1 of Missouri, starting out as a hod carrier, then becoming a bricklayer and retiring after almost thirty years. Ronald loved being outdoors, whether gardening or farming. He also loved to go fishing and hunting. Ronald also enjoyed landscaping the yard and especially cutting the grass. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be forever cherished by them all. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Committal services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 21, 2022 at Crestview Memorial Park Haven of Rest Mausoleum in St. Clair, MO with Rev. John Pursley officiating.
