OBITUARY Rod Allen Starks of St. Clair, MO departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, May 28, 2023, having reached the age of sixty years, three months and five days. Rod was born in Washington, MO on February 23, 1963, son of Willie Vernon Starks and Patsy May Starks nee Cahill. On August 1, 1981 he was united in marriage to Tina Rae Frame and two children came to bless this union. Rod is survived by his wife, Tina Starks of St. Clair, MO; by his children, Allen Starks and wife, Amanda, of St. Clair, MO and Josh Starks of Springfield, IL; by his mother, Patsy Starks of St. Clair, MO; by his sisters, Amy Jo Arnold and husband, Johnie, of Lonedell, MO and Deanna Hamilton and husband, John, of New Haven, MO; by his father-in-law, Raymond Frame and wife, Shirley, of Flippin, AR; by his sister-in-law, Denise Kucginski and husband, Joel, of Mountain Home, AR; by his grandchildren, Alicia Starks and Sierra Starks, both of St. Clair, MO; by two brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Rod was preceded in death by his father, Willie "Vernon" Starks; and by his mother-in-law, Shirley Frame. Rod was a Christian and longtime member of First Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO where he served as a Deacon in the early 1990's. During his working career he was a Maintenance Supervisor at St. Clair Die Casting Company for thirty-two years. He was also Plant Supervisor at Ozark Die Casting since 2019 and had even worked at Parway Tryson Company in St. Clair, MO for a few years. Rod loved spending time outdoors, whether camping or fishing or hunting or just spending time on the river. He also enjoyed target shooting, woodworking and tending to his flower and vegetable garden. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will never be forgotten. A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Rod Allen Starks entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
