OBITUARY Rebecca Ann McCullen of Grubville, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Saturday, May 17, 2025, having reached the age of fifty-eight years and eight days. Rebecca was born in St. Louis, MO on May 9, 1967, daughter of Jerry Michael Reeves and Judith Ann Reeves nee Sisak. On July 27, 1985 she was united in marriage to John Darryl McCullen and one daughter came to bless this union. Rebecca is survived by her husband, John McCullen of Grubville, MO; by her daughter, Stephanie McCullen of Pacific, MO; by her grandchildren, Otto Dykhuizen and Ryker Trusty; by her mother, Judith Reeves of Labadie, MO; by her siblings, Leonard Reeves and wife, Catherine, of Labadie, MO, Susan Jackson and husband, William, of Barnhart, MO and Joseph Reeves and wife, Patricia, of Lonedell, MO; by her mother-in-law, Geneva McCullen of Warrenton, MO; by her brothers-in-law, Charles McCullen and wife, Dora, of Sullivan, MO and Tim McCullen of Warrenton, MO; by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Reeves and by her father-in-law, Charles McCullen. Rebecca made caring for her home and family her job in life and she never tired of it. She was an avid reader and love to work puzzles of all kinds. Her family, and especially her grandchildren, held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. She cherished the time spent babysitting and caring for them. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will live on in their hearts forever. A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM, with Billy Jackson officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
