Obituary

OBITUARY Randolph Herbert Freeman of Union, MO walked into the arms of his Savior in St. Charles, MO on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, having reached the age of sixty-three years and seventeen days. Randolph was born in St. Louis, MO on May 7, 1960, son of Oliver Herbert Freeman and Harvetta Lee Freeman nee Hunter. Randolph is survived by his mother, Harvetta Smith of Union, MO; by two aunts, one uncle and several cousins. Randolph was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Freeman; and by his step-father, John Smith. Randolph was a life long member of New Hope Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO. During his working career he was employed by a photography company that would travel across the United States as a school photographer. He also was employed by Adams Mark Hotel in St. Louis, MO as a heating and cooling technician. Randolph was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and the Single Action Shooting Society. He enjoyed hunting, collecting knives and guns and going to and selling at gun shows. A kind and loving son, nephew, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. A private committal will take place at a later date. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
