OBITUARY Patricia Ann Cordia of St. Clair, MO departed this life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, March 17, 2023, having reached the age of eighty years, one month and nine days. Patricia was born in St. Louis, MO on February 8, 1943, daughter of Martin Lorts and Fern Lorts nee Woodworth. On May 26, 1962 she was united in marriage to Robert Earl Cordia and two children came to bless this union. Patricia is survived by her son, Robert Cordia, Jr. and wife, Jenny, of St. Clair, MO; by her granddaughter, Ruthie Cordia, of St. Clair, MO; by one step-brother, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Fern Lorts; by her husband, Robert Cordia, Sr.; and by her daughter, Theresa Whited. Patricia was a Christian and past member of St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO and Daughters of Isabella, Circle 1082, St. Clair, MO. She had most recently been attending The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge, MO with Robert, Jr. and Jenny. During her working career she was employed as a sales clerk for Walmart in Union, MO for over twenty-four years. She loved horses, dancing in her later years and attending family reunions in Richwoods, MO. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, step-sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park in St. Clair, MO. Memorial may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society in Union, MO.
