OBITUARY Michael Glen Middleton of St. Clair, MO departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Monday, November 4, 2024, having reached the age of seventy-five years, two months and twenty-three days. Michael was born in Washington, MO on August 12, 1949, son of Kenneth Glen Middleton and Marcella Genevieve Middleton nee Blanford. On February 20, 1971 he was united in marriage to Ann Jilletta Osborn, known to all as Jill, and two children came to bless this union. Michael is survived by his wife, Jill Middleton of St. Clair, MO; by his daughter, Stephanie Middleton Larson of St. Clair, MO; by his grandchildren, Lucy and Zachary Middleton, both of St. Clair, MO; by his brother, Joseph Albert Middleton of St. Clair, MO; by his sister, Carol Ann Frauenhoffer and husband, Jack, of St. Louis, MO; by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Osborn of St. Clair, MO; by one brother-in-law, Jack Osborn and significant other, Cheryl Stulce, of Lonedell, MO; by his sister-in-law, Jeanne Menke and husband, Francis, of New Haven, MO; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marcella Middleton; by his son, Sean-Michael Bryan Middleton; by his father-in-law, Bud Osborn; by one brother-in-law, Jimmy Osborn; and by one nephew, Andrew Middleton. Michael was a Christian and believed in the Lord as his Savior. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army, entering on September 10, 1970 and receiving his honorable discharge on March 16, 1972. Following that, he was in the National Guard for 3 years. During his working career he was employed as a set up man for St. Clair Die Casting for nineteen years, as well as Ozark Die Casting for ten years. He had a passion for studying World War II and watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball games. Michael also enjoyed watching his children's and grandchildren's school sporting events. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Kenneth "Butch" Banderman officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
