OBITUARY Lori Ellen Mayer of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on August 12, 2022, having reached the age of fifty-nine years and thirty days. Lori was born in San Antonio, TX on July 13, 1963, daughter of Harold Wayne Roller, known to most as Ody, and Joan Annette Roller nee Montgomery. On July 30, 1983 she was united in marriage to Mark Stephen Mayer and two sons came to bless this union. Lori is survived by her husband, Mark Mayer of St. Clair, MO; by her sons, Jeremy Mayer and wife, Angela, of Fenton, MO and Nick Mayer and girlfriend, Jordan Sweet, of St. Clair, MO; by her brothers, Kent Roller of St. Clair, MO and Scott Roller and wife, Michele, of Ellisville, MO; by her aunt, Virginia Snow of St. Clair, MO; by her grandson, Jacob Mayer of Fenton, MO and with another grandchild on the way; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Ody and Joan Roller. Lori was a Christian of the Catholic faith and member of St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO. During her working career she was employed by IGA food store in St. Clair and then worked with her mother at her craft store. Lori then went on to work at Forget Me Not Florist in St. Clair for ten years before she owned and operated the store for the next twenty years. She had a variety of interests throughout her life including going fishing, doing crafts and listening to music, especially disco, Motown and the Eagles. Lori was a great cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows and HGTV on television. She also loved the time she spent with friends and family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children. The family of Lori Ellen Mayer entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
