Obituary

Linda Ann Scott of Saint Clair, Missouri joined her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott, her daughter, Tanya Sanders and granddaughter, Destiny Pearson at the gates of heaven on December 16, 2023. She has left her legacy behind in the hearts of her children and grandchildren, her son Walter Pearson, grandchildren Lisa, Katalina, and Lonnie Pearson, her daughter Jessica Pearson and companion John Marshall, grandson Billy Strosnider III and daughter Sarah Homer with husband Tim and their children, Zachary and Emma Adams and Jolee and Mason Homer. She leaves one great granddaughter behind, Blakely Strosnider. Her presence will be missed greatly by many including her life partner Lonnie Lipe, who has been by her side since their marriage in June of 1983 and her granddaughter Marisa Sanders, whom she loved as a daughter. There are very little words that will express the depth of sorrow that will be felt in the coming days, yet we will take this time to remember the beautiful memories we had of her while we were blessed to have her in our lives. More than anything she loved her family. She made each Christmas as warm as the summer days we spent cooking out and swimming at her house and the autumn nights we shared together roasting hotdogs around the fire. She loved the outdoors and camping and was always so proud of her beautiful garden and flowers. A day with her girls was always well spent in the thrift stores followed by lunch at their favorite Mexican restaurant. Linda had a heart that was so full of love, and she gave all of it to the people around her even up to her final days. She was loving, supportive, and thoughtful and those that had her in their life are better for it. She is survived by her brother Larry (Sue) Scott of Vidalia, LA, and three sisters, Karen (Ronnie) Meyers of Cleveland, MS; Patrica Gousset of Grand Junction, CO; and Sue (Russel) Clark of Natchez, MS.
