OBITUARY

Laura Lynn Mitchell of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Thursday, September 17, 2026, having reached the age of fifty-six years, two months and ten days. Laura was born in St. Louis, MO on July 7, 1970, daughter of Harold Taylor and Delores Jane Taylor nee Childers. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have two children.

Laura is survived by her children, Brandon Dean and fiancé, Bianca, of Eldon, MO and Austin Bledsoe of St. Clair, MO; by her mother, Dolores Mallett of St. Clair, MO; by two sisters, Roxanne Lottmann and husband, Dale, of Union, MO and Genevieve Guyton and special friend, Lance, of Fenton, MO; by one brother, Timothy Doyle and wife, Cindy, of St. Clair, MO; by cousins and many friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Harold Taylor; by one sister, Mary Trask; and by three brothers, Dennis Doyle, Jay Doyle and infant Wayne Doyle.

Laura was a Christian and had been attending Mercy Ministries in St. Clair, MO. During her working career she was employed in the Home Health care industry as a nurse and had spent time caring for her mother. She also at one time been employed at Six Flags Over Mid-America. Laura enjoyed beading, making various jewelry and going camping. She also enjoyed watching television with her mother and spending time talking and fellowshipping with her friends. What meant most to her was spending time with her family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever.

A kind and loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A private committal will take place at a later date at Stanton Cemetery. The family of Laura Lynn Mitchell was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
