OBITUARY Larry Dale Bourbon, Sr. of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, having reached the age of seventy years, eleven months and twelve days. Larry was born in St. Louis, MO on March 21, 1954, son of Robert Thomas Bourbon and Elizabeth Evelyn Bourbon nee Boyer. As a young man he was united in marriage to Linda Joyce Showalter and blessed to have three children. Larry is survived by his son, Larry Bourbon, Jr. and wife, Desseree, of St. Clair, MO; by five brothers, Robert Bourbon and wife, Phong, Ronnie Bourbon and wife, Betty, Blain Bourbon and wife, Celeste, Dennis Bourbon and Tommy Bourbon; by two sisters, Helen Juergens and husband, Arnie and Laura Showalter and husband, Rudy; by his grandchildren, Linda Moss of St. Louis, MO, David Moss of Grubville, MO, Larry D. Bourbon, III and wife, Katelyn of St. Clair, MO and Savannah Mason of Union, MO; by his great-grandchildren, Ellison, Ellanore & Anthony, Wyatt, Larry IV, Waylon & Harlow; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Bourbon; by one daughter, Lela Steck; by one son, Raymond Bourbon; by one brother, Kenneth Bourbon; and by two sisters, Lela Paty and Martha Bourbon. During his over thirty year working career, Larry was a brick layer, doing primarily residential projects for various construction contractors. He enjoyed playing Pitch, poker, throwing cards and collecting antiques. His children and grandchildren held a vary special place in his heart, as he did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever by cherished by them all forever A private committal will take place at a later date.
