OBITUARY Kelly Marie Ziegler of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Sullivan, MO on August 16, 2022, having reached the age of forty-four years, eight months and three days. Kelly was born in St. Louis, MO on December 13, 1977, daughter of Steven Michael Richardson and Sandra Darlene Richardson nee Wilburn. On October 17, 1998 she was united in marriage to Russell Leoniest Ziegler and two sons came to bless this union. Kelly is survived by her husband, Russell Ziegler of St. Clair, MO; by her sons, Steven Ziegler and fiancé, Mikayla Weirich, of Sullivan, MO and Dane Ziegler and girlfriend, Liyah Lane, of St. Clair, MO; by her granddaughter, Sadie Jo Ziegler of Sullivan, MO; by her mother, Sandra Richardson, known to all as Sandy, of Washington, MO; by her grandmother, Betty Wilburn of O'Fallon, MO; by her parents-in-law, Charles Ziegler of St. Clair, MO and Ruth Ziegler of Union, MO; by her sister, Cara Smith and husband, James, of Washington, MO; by aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Steven Richardson; and by her grandparents, Harley Wilburn and Clifford and Eunice Richardson. Kelly was a Christian and member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. During her working career she was employed by Sullivan Veterinary Clinic for two years and St. Clair Rexall for about five years. Kelly was primarily a stay-at-home mother who loved taking care of her home and family. She was involved in all her son's sporting and motocross events. She also loved becoming and grandmother and spending precious time with her granddaughter. She had a variety of interests throughout her life including photography, gardening, couponing and making blankets. In her younger years she enjoyed riding her yellow scooter. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The loved they shared and the many precious memories they created will forever by cherished by them all. A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2022 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. John Dover officiating. Interment will be in Anaconda Community Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family for Sadie Jo's education or Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
