OBITUARY

Kaylyn Elizabeth Richards of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Friday, February 27, 2026, having reached the age of twenty years, five months and eleven days. Kaylyn was born in Sullivan, MO on September 16, 2005, daughter of Barry Wayne Richards and Misty Dawn Richards nee Immekus.

Kaylyn is survived by her parents, Misty Immekus of St. Clair, MO and Barry Richards of Sullivan, MO; by her siblings, Charly Immekus and Bentley Vaughn, both of St. Clair, MO; by her grandparents, Charles Immekus of Sullivan, MO, Michael Bucha, Sr. of Cuba, MO, Ann Bucha of Sr. Roberts, MO and Johnny Richards of Steelville, MO; by her aunt, Leann Richards of Cuba, MO; by her uncles, Jeffrey Bucha, Michael Bucha, Jr., Michael Richards and Ryan Richards, all of Cuba, MO; by great-aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.

Kaylyn’s son Ryker Allen Junior Wilken departed at the time of her passing; and by her grandmother, Roberta Immekus.

Kaylyn was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working career she was employed by Dollar General and Country Fresh Market, both in St. Clair, MO. She had a variety of interests throughout her life including diamond painting, arts & crafts and coloring. Kaylyn also enjoyed bible journaling, eating bananas and just having a good time chilling. What meant most to her was expecting to be a mom to her son.

A kind and loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, great-nieces, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Ronnie Bridgemann, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Horine Cemetery in Richwoods, MO. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Franklin County Humane Society.
