OBITUARY Judith Ann Dickison of Lonedell, MO departed this life at her home on Monday, April 15, 2024, having reached the age of seventy-two years, four months and twenty-two days. Judith was born in St. Louis, MO on November 24, 1951, daughter of Clifford Vance and Mary Vance nee Cheatham. On October 25, 1975 she was united in marriage to Richard Von Dickison. Judith is survived by her husband, Richard Dickison of Lonedell, MO; by her children, Kimberly Long and husband, Kevin, of Lonedell, MO, Nicholas Giancola and wife, Teresa, of Plano, TX, Anthony Giancola and wife, KShe, of St. Clair, MO, Adam Dickison and wife, Shelby, of Webster Groves, MO, Ronda Farris and husband, Jason, of Hillsboro, MO, Rodney Dickison and wife, Angie, of Festus, MO, Shannon Zimmermann (Tyrell) of St. Louis, MO and April Cooper Dickison of Pacific, MO; by her mother, Mary Diamond of Bridgeton, MO; by her sister, Jeannie Combs and husband, Randy, of Creve Coeur, MO; by her brothers, Bill Vance and Jason Vance; by twenty-eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Judith was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Vance; and by step-father, Charlie Diamond. Judith made caring for her home and family her job in life and never tired of it. She enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flower garden and cutting grass. An animal lover at heart, she loved caring for her animals. In her younger years she enjoyed going camping with the family. What meant most to her was her time spent with family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Pastor John Pursley officiating. Inurnment will be in Crestview Memorial Park Haven of Rest Mausoleum in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Lonedell R-14 Scholarship Fund.
