Obituary

OBITUARY Jeanette Taylor nee Williams of St. Clair, MO departed this life, at her home, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, having reached the age of eighty-five years, eight months and twenty-five days. Jeanette was born in Lonedell, MO on June 23, 1939, daughter of Farris Ely Williams and Mabel Marie Williams nee George. As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have one son. Jeanette is survived by her son, John Taylor, Sr. and wife, Tamara, of St. Clair, MO; by two sisters, Virginia Landing of Sullivan, MO and Margie Pruessner of Union, MO; by her grandson, John Taylor, Jr. and fiancé, Shae, of Kingston, OK; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Farris and Mabel Williams; by one brother, Tim Williams; and by one sister, Rosemary Bagley. Jeanette was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior and had previously been attending Lighthouse Baptist Church in Moselle, MO. During her working career she was a manager at United Van Lines in Fenton, MO for over twenty years. She had a passion for bowling and was in a league throughout most of her life. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, knitting and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. What meant most to her was time spent with family and friends. The love and fellowship they shared together and the many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. For the good of others, Jeanette's final wish was to donate her body to science. A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Jeanette Taylor entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
