OBITUARY
Helen Delores Boyster of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Clair on Friday, January 9, 2026, having reached the age of eighty-seven years, one month and twenty-nine days. Helen was born in Richwoods, MO on November 14, 1938, daughter of William Patton and Ethel Patton nee Jennings. As a young woman she was united in marriage to Robert Boyster.
Helen is survived by two sisters, Verna Bennett of Webster Groves, MO and Sheila Adams and husband, Joe, of Richwoods, MO; by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel Patton; by her husband, Robert Boyster; by six brothers, Clyde Patton, Elvin Patton, Gilbert Patton, Ralph Patton, William Patton and Robert Patton; by four sisters, Julia Aubuchon, Lena Royer, Irene Bourisaw and Irma Bertani.
Helen was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working career she was employed by Famous Barr Company in St. Louis, MO, as well as their store in Mid Rivers Mall, in the jewelry department, serving the company for many years. She loved to play bingo and travel, even working as a travel agent for a while. In her younger years she enjoyed playing golf and had won many trophies doing so. Although she had no children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
A kind and loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A private committal will take place at a later date. The family of Helen Delores Boyster was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
