OBITUARY Hayden Michael Brant of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Clair on Saturday, January 27, 2024, having reached the age of seventeen years and two months. Hayden was born in St. Louis, MO on November 27, 2006, son of Barbara Jean Brant nee Belew and Justin Lee Brant. Hayden is survived by his mother, Barbara Brant of St. Clair, MO; by his father, Justin Brant of St. Clair, MO; by his brother, Hunter Brant of St. Clair, MO; by his grandparents, Bruce Belew of St. Clair, MO, Donna and Mark Brant of St. Clair, MO; by his great-grandmother, Donna Belew of St. Clair, MO; by his uncle, Robbie Belew (Elizabeth) of Lonedell, MO; by his aunt, Tiffanie Alfermann (Todd) of St. Clair, MO; by his cousins, Jeannine and Henry Belew and Mason, Ryder and Jax Alfermann; by many other relatives, adopted aunts and uncles and many friends. Hayden was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandy Belew. Hayden was a junior at St. Clair High School, where he was a member of the FFA and Trap Team. He enjoyed taking stuff apart and putting it back together, working on vehicles, loved anything with a motor, and working on his grandpa's farm. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing and spending time on the river. He would also "tear stuff up and make ruts in the yard". What meant most to him was the time he spent with his family and friends. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving son, grandson, great-grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 and after 9:00 AM Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the funeral home with Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date.
