OBITUARY Gerald Steven Caudle, known to all as Jerry, of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, having reached the age of sixty-three years, two months and sixteen days. Jerry was born in St. Louis, MO on November 6, 1961, son of Ralph Edward Caudle, Sr. and Norma Jean Caudle nee Monney. As a young man he was united in marriage and blessed to have one son. In the fall of 1991 he started spending his life with Jacqueline Kay Light and their families were joined as one. Jerry is survived by his son, Joshua Caudle; by his step-son, Paul "Mike" Graham and wife, Courtnee, of Leander, TX; by his grandchildren, Alexander, William, Christopher and Catherine Graham; by his mother-in-law, Sandra "Sandie" Light; by one sister, Nancy Connelly and husband, Mike, of Branson West, MO; by one sister-in-law, Debbie Caudle of Villa Ridge, MO; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph, Sr. and Norma Caudle; by his spouse, Jackie Elkins; by his brother, Ralph Caudle, Jr.; and by three sisters, Salley Cason, Linda Caudle and infant Brenda Caudle. During his working career he was employed as a machinist at R&R Tool & Die Company, which he retired from after many years of service. Jerry enjoyed spending time at the pool with his family, taking care of his home and watching movies. He also enjoyed going boating, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was an animal lover at heart and especially loved his pet dogs. What meant most to him though was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving father, step-father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. James Howard officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell, MO. Memorials may be made to Franklin County Humane Society.
