OBITUARY

Francis James Schlueter, Jr., known to all as Frank, of Ironton, MO departed this life in St. Clair, MO on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, having reached the age of seventy-three years, ten months and twelve days. Frank was born in Alton, Illinois on May 19, 1952, son of Francis James Schlueter, Sr. and Jeanette Theresa Schlueter nee Pope.

Frank is survived by one brother, Bobby Schlueter of St. Louis, MO; by his special friends, Wilma Davis of Bellview, MO, Jackie Hartman and husband, Jeff, of St. Clair, MO, Kelly Wilson and husband, Bill, of Arcadia, MO, Raven, Rayley, Jayla and Dane Wilson, all of Arcadia, MO; by other relatives and many friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Francis, Sr. and Jeanette Schlueter; by one brother, Dennis Schlueter; and by his sister Margie Schlueter.

Frank was a Christian, having been raised in the Catholic faith, believing in the Lord as his Savior, and had in more recent times visited several other churches in the area. During his working career he was employed by Yellow Freight in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed going to yard sales, fishing and playing the lottery. Frank loved old trucks, being outdoors and going to Lake of the Ozarks. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed collecting memorabilia. Frank was an outgoing and funny man that liked to joke around. Although he had no children of his own, spending time with friends brought him great joy.

A kind and loving brother and friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Brother Mark Sutton officiating. A private committal will take place at a later date.
