OBITUARY Francis Edward Huff of Lonedell, MO departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, January 17, 2025, having reached the age of ninety years, five months and fifteen days. Francis was born in Lonedell, MO on August 2, 1934, son of Chriss Huff and Selma Rose Huff nee Venable. On October 20, 1957 he was united in marriage to Emma Mae Mueller and two children came to bless this union. Francis is survived by his daughter, Paula Morrison of Lonedell, MO; by his brother, Lloyd Huff and wife, Debbie, of Lonedell, MO; by his brother-in-law, Curtis Mueller and wife, Carol, of Potosi, MO; by his sister-in-law, Clara Ann Corman and husband, David, of Sullivan, MO; by his grandchildren, Matthew Woods and fiancé, Megan DeClue, of St. Clair, MO and Stephanie Gilbreath of Lonedell, MO; by his great-grandchildren, Alyssa Woods, Savannah Woods, Lacey Woods, Kaydence Mink, Dakota DeClue, Rynlee DeClue, Christopher Casteel, Tyson Gilbreath, Kelsey Woods and Lucas Moon; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Chriss and Selma Huff; by his wife, Emma Mae Huff; and by his son, Mark Huff. Francis was a Christian, believing in the Lord as his Savior and member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Leslie, MO. during his working career he work as a laborer for General Material, now Winter Brothers, in Fenton, MO for twenty-six years. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and horse back riding. He also enjoyed bowling and caring for his flower and vegetable garden. What meant most to him was time spent with family and the love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Tom Rudolph officiating. A private Interment will be I in Elmwood Cemetery in Lonedell, MO at a later date. Memorials may be made to Russell Colonial Funeral Home.
