OBITUARY

Faith Hoelscher-Banderman Benson of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Clair, MO on Monday, August 31, 2026, having reached the age of eighty-nine years, six months and fourteen days. Faith was born in Washington, MO on February 17, 1937, daughter of Albert and Edith Hoelscher nee Lottmann and Henry and Julia Banderman. On July 2, 1955 she was united in marriage to Clarence “Bud” Benson and three daughters came to bless this union.

Faith is survived by her daughters, Brenda Jones of St. Clair, MO, Pamela Nunez and husband, Mark, of St. Clair, MO and Kelly Benson of St. Clair, MO; by eight grandchildren, Lance Oldham and wife, Trisha, Katie Carroll and husband, Lou, Cullen Oldham and significant other, Jamie, Danny Jeffers and wife, Heather, Maggie Engel, Mandie Nunez-Leroney and husband, Brad, Stevie Nunez and fiancé, Tim Naes and Maria Holden and husband, Skylar; by fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Edith Hoelscher and Henry and Julia Banderman; by her husband, Clarence “Bud” Benson; and by her siblings, Edwin Banderman, Ernest Banderman, Helen Palmer, Mildred Walters and Ruth Lefler

As a young woman, Faith was employed by International Shoe Company in St. Clair, MO. Faith enjoyed doing puzzles, taking care of her flowers and baking. What meant most to her was time spent with family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever.

A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A private committal will take place at Anaconda Community Cemetery, St. Clair, MO, at a later date.
