OBITUARY Erica Leslie Kindel of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on December 8, 2021, having reached the age of twenty-one years, ten months and twenty-seven days. Erica was born in Washington, MO on January 11, 2000, daughter of Craig Joseph Kindel and Amy Lee Kindel nee Evers. Erica is survived by her parents, Craig and Amy Kindel of St. Clair, MO; by her brother, Johnny Kindel of St. Clair; by her grandparents, Lee and Larry Evers of St. Clair; by her aunts and uncles, Debbie Brocato and husband, Mark, of St. Clair, Ben Evers and wife, Miranda, of Lake Ozark, MO, Beth Plume and husband, Travis, of Linn, MO and Aaron Evers and wife, Molly, of Union, MO; by great-aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Erica was preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Kindel; by her uncle, Keith Kindel; and by her grandparents, Sylvester "Ike" and Alberta "Bert" Kindel. Erica was a Christian and member of St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO. She was a graduate of the Franklin County Special Education Cooperative in St. Clair, MO. Erica had recently been attending Rainbow Activity Center in Union, MO. She loved watching television, especially cartoons and musicals, and listening to music. She also loved watching people and taking in nature during rides in her stroller. Erica enjoyed playing with balls, especially catching and throwing. She loved people and was happiest when surrounded by family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral mass was held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Clare Catholic Church in St. Clair, MO with Father Eric Kunz officiating. Interment was in St. Clare Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair. Memorials may be made to Rainbow Activity Center in Union, MO.
