OBITUARY Douglas Ross Kamper, know to all as Buck, of Lonedell, MO departed this life at his home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, having reached the age of forty-nine years, ten months and thirty days. Buck was born in Washington, MO on May 4, 1974, son of Douglas Ray Kamper and Linda Louise Kamper nee Dopp. On December 9, 1993 he was united in marriage to Patti Jeanine Barker. Buck is survived by his wife, Patti Kamper of Lonedell, MO; by his father, Douglas Kamper of St. Clair, MO; by his sister, Dawn Kleinheider of Union, MO; by his grandmother, Opal Kamper of St. Clair, MO; by his father-in-law, Sonny Barker of Lonedell, MO; by his step-siblings, Adam Berning and wife, Alicia, of Lonedell, MO and Selena Berning of Lonedell, MO; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Buck was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kamper; by his brother, Dennis Kamper, known to all as Spike; and by his mother-in-law, Linda Barker. Buck was employed by Shade Tree Services in Fenton, MO as a line clearance man on behalf of Ameren UE. He was a proud member of Easter Lodge #363 AF & AM in Robertsville, MO. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time outdoors. Buck loved to spend time with family and friends, drinking beer and having a good time. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, son, son-in-law, brother, step-brother, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved hi Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Graveside services will be held at 10:15 AM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Kamper Cemetery in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
