OBITUARY Dorothy Mae Osborn of St. Clair, MO departed this life in New Haven, MO on Friday, May 30, 2025, having reached the age of ninety-two years, five months and twenty-one days. Dorothy was born in St. Clair, MO on December 9, 1932, daughter of William Paiton Phillips, known to all as Pate, and Helen Phillips nee Stager. On October 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Alfred Bryan Osborn, known to all as Bud, and four children came to bless this union. Dorothy is survived by three children, Jill Middleton of St. Clair, MO, Jack Osborn and fiancé, Cheryl Stulce, of Lonedell, MO and Jeanne Menke and husband, Francis, of New Haven, MO; by one brother, John Phillips and wife, Debbie, of Virginia Beach, VA; by six grandchildren, Stephanie Larson, Billy Osborn, Samantha Unger and husband, Robert, Bryan Osborn, Zane Menke and Lucas Osborn; by seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Phillips; by her husband, Bud Osborn; by one son, Jimmy Osborn; by her son-in-law, Michael Middleton; by three brothers, Robert Phillips, William Phillips and Theodore "Ted" Phillips, Sr.; by her sisters, Lola Rock, Viola Cook and Gladys Carver; and by one grandson, Sean Middleton. Dorothy was a Christian of the Baptist faith and had most recently attended Christ Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. She was employed by R&R Ace Hardware for sixteen of her younger years, worked as a cook at various restaurants in town, was a seamstress at Loraine's Dress Shop and worked as a medical assistant at a doctor's office in St. Clair. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
