There was always a pot of coffee brewing, and you were in luck if you liked it strong. She had a sweet tooth and never said no to a dessert. Doris was an enthusiastic bird watcher and loved animals especially the many cats and dogs she had throughout the years. She was an avid reader of the Bible, American history, cultural history, suspense, and westerns. She enjoyed theater and musical plays. What meant most to her was time spent with the Lord and her family. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to her granddaughter Rachael, son-in-law Wade, Lori and Don McMillan, Mercy Hospice in Missouri and Compassus Hospice in Michigan for their TLC.
