OBITUARY Diana Marie Marnin of Lonedell, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, having reached the age of sixty-two years, three months and twenty-five days. Diana was born in St. Louis, MO on January 12, 1963, daughter of Fredrick Donald Schaffer, known to all as Don, and Sue Carol Schaffer nee McBride. On May 16, 1997 she was united in marriage to Michael Joseph Marnin. Diana is survived by her husband, Michael Marnin of Lonedell, MO; by her children, Jessica Dierker and husband, William, of Hillsboro, MO, Tom Sheldon and wife, Kelsey, of Pacific, MO, and Mike Marnin and wife, Katrina, of St. Louis, MO; by her grandchildren, Mason and Isabella Dierker, Jace, Harper, Cade and Sawyer Sheldon and Sabrina Marnin; by her father, Don Schaffer of St. Louis, MO; by her sister, Carolyn Lay and husband, Scot, of Washington, MO; by her brothers, Don Schaffer and wife, Sandy, of Oakville, MO, and Michael Schaffer and wife, Dana, of High Ridge, MO; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Schaffer. Diana was a Christian, raised in the Baptist faith, who believed in the Lord as her Savior. Her career included a 7 year tenure as a Lab Technician with Howmet Aerospace. Diana loved going to the casino where she often caught more lucky breaks than most. She enjoyed shopping and loved a good sale! Her home is a gallery of memories, where her antiques and rare finds are proudly showcased throughout. Diana also delighted in fishing with her husband at the lake and savoring a good book. What meant most to her though, was her time spent with family. She loved to bring her family together. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter as she lovingly hosted holidays and celebrations. Her love for her husband, children, and grandchildren knew no bounds. The precious memories and abundant love she brought to so many will be cherished and never forgotten. A kind and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and treasured friend. She is deeply loved, will now and forever be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and love her.
