Diana Lynn DeClue was born in Washington, MO on June 10, 1963, to the union of Leroy Sr. and Mary DeClue. Diana Lynn was the oldest of four. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy DeClue, Sr. and Mary McCord; and step-father, Gerald McCord. Diana Lynn accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age. During her years of employment, Diana worked as a teacher in the Special School District in St. Louis County for over twenty years. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, going fishing with the family and doing DIY projects. Diana was an animal lover and especially loved dogs. Diana Lynn married David Rusin Sr. in 1979, and to that union two children were born, David Jr. and Brandon. Diana welcomed her daughter Erica with John Huggins Sr. They later married in 1986 and John Huggins Jr. was born to the union. John Huggins Sr. preceded her in death. Diana's family meant the world to her and she enjoyed every moment they spent together. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will forever live on in their hearts. Diana was a kind and loving mother, step-mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin and treasured friend, who will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Diana Lynn departed this life on Friday, February 28, 2025. She walked this earth sixty-one years, eight months and eighteen days. Diana is survived by her children~ David (Cate) Rusin, Brandon (Crystal) Rusin, Erica (Danny) Thomas, and John Huggins Jr., all of Missouri; step-daughter, Jada (Mark) Miller of Missouri; siblings~ Leroy (Robin) DeClue, James "Jimmy" DeClue, Mary Coleen (Keith) Bay, and Aaron DeClue of IN; uncle~ Matthew (Cindy) Doyle, of Bruffels, TX; grandchildren ~Jade, Samantha, Logan, Jacob, Khloe, Ricke'l, Spencer, Michael, Deyvion, Danny II, Erynn, Mia, Jayla, Jaxxon, Rebecca, Brody, Austin, Jacob, Louis, Lark and Derrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
