OBITUARY Dennis Steven Mann, known to all as Steve, of Sullivan, MO departed this life in St. Louis, MO on December 7, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-six years and twelve days. Steve was born in St. Louis, MO on November 25, 1955, son of Dennis Mann and Suzanne Mann nee Cook. On July 1, 2011 he was united in marriage to Lisa Jill Love and their families were joined as one. Steve is survived by his wife, Lisa Mann of Sullivan, MO; by his children, Stephanie Silverberg and husband, Brandon, of St. Charles, MO, Nicole Parker and husband, Steven, of St. Peters, MO, Curtis Mann and fiancé, Jessica Merrill, of Portland, ME, Bryan Osborn and Lucas Osborn, both of St. Clair, MO; by his brothers, Craig Mann and wife, Libby, of Antioch, IL and Billy Bond and wife, Crystal, of St. Louis, MO; by his sister, Christine Bond of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; by his grandchildren, Tasha, Caitlin, Damien, Torin, Grace, Zander, Ryleigh and Lillie; by aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Steve was preceded in death by his wives, Lynn Mann and Sheri Mann nee Sparks; and by his parents, Dennis Mann and Suzanne Bond. Steve was a Christian and was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Sullivan, MO. During his working career he worked as a roofer for some twenty years and as a welder for Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad for twenty years. He was a proud member of the railroad's union. Steve loved spending time outdoors, whether fishing, frogging, camping or hiking. He also loved playing pool, riding motorcycles and travelling. Being the outdoorsman he was, he enjoyed spending time in the mountains at least twice a year. What meant most to him was time spent with family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Jim Plymale officiating. Interment was in New Chapel Hill Cemetery in Sullivan, MO. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
