David Rodger Pelton of Eureka, MO departed this life in Fenton, MO, on Wednesday, September 5, 2024, having reached the age of Seventy-Eight years, and twenty-four days. David was born in St. Louis, MO on August 12, 1946, son of Robert Irvin Pelton and Marjorie Bernice Pelton nee Schulte. David is survived by his brothers, Rodger Pelton and wife, Margaret, of Altamonte, FL, Dale Pelton and wife, Mary of Lonedell MO, Michael Pelton of Washington, MO; and by his sister Darlene Walberg and husband, Joe, of Cabool, MO, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bernice Pelton; and by his brother, Thomas Pelton. David was a Christian of Baptist faith. During his working career he was employed by Mallinckrodt in St. Louis, MO for over twenty-seven years as a Chemical Lab Tech, and AT&T for ten years as a Phone Canvaser. David enjoyed going fishing, and hunting and Target shooting and won in competitions. He was a big- hearted man that would give to or help anyone in need. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
