OBITUARY Colin Montgomery Prine of Beaufort, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Sunday, August 3, 2025, having reached the age of twenty-one years, five months and eight days. Colin was born in Washington, MO on February 26, 2004, son of Angela Sue Prine. Colin is survived by his mother, Angela Lakso and husband, Justin, of Beaufort, MO; by his siblings, Mackenzie Lakso and Evin Lakso; by his grandparents, Melody Weckmann and husband, Mac, of St. Clair, MO, Bryan Prine of Tucson, AZ, Gloria Perkins and husband, Bernard, of Gerald, MO and Jeff Lakso and wife, Kathie, of Harrisburg, MO; by his girlfriend, Taylor Pietraschke of Owensville, MO; by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Colin was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith and believing in the Lord as his Savior. He graduated from Union High School in 2022 and went on to attend and graduate from American Welding Academy in Union, MO in 2023. He was employed by Pecision Tank Company in Thompson, IA. Colin enjoyed going fishing, hiking and spelunking. He also enjoyed riding four wheelers, and working on cars. He would work on his friends' cars even if it meant waiting to fix his own. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, boyfriend and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park in St. Clair, MO.
