OBITUARY
Clinton George Balderson (Wallace) of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Clair, MO on Thursday, January 1, 2026, having reached the age of forty-six years and one day. Clinton was born in St. Louis, MO on December 30, 1979, son of Deborah Ann Friesen. On May 17, 2014 he was united in marriage to Marie Frances Wilson and he loved her children as his own.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Marie Balderson of St. Clair, MO; by his children, Trenton Balderson of St. Clair, MO, Taylor Balderson of St. Clair, MO and Toni Balderson and boyfriend, Nick DeClue, of Pacific, MO; by his mother, Debbie Saling and husband, Chris, of St. Clair, MO; by his step-children, Nick McKorkle and wife, Cassie, of Litchfield, IL, Jennifer McKorkle of St. Clair, MO, Ryan McKorkle and wife, Curstin, of Sullivan, MO and Jayden Slightom of St. Clair, MO; by his siblings, Paul Wallace and wife, Jen, of St. Clair, MO, Erin Webster and husband, Russell of IN and Emily Borcherding and husband, Dillon, of New Haven, MO; by his aunts, Diane Bruner of Wildwood, MO and Bridgette Vesper and husband, Steve, of O’Fallon, MO; by his brother-in-law, John Wilson and wife, Emma, of Gillespie, IL; by five grandchildren, other aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Clinton was preceded in death by his father, Dean Wallace.
Clinton was a tree trimmer by trade and was employed by Gerstner Electric in Fenton, MO and Wright Tree Service. He was a proud member of United Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2. He loved going camping and fishing with the grandkids, cooking and smoking meat and barbequing for the family, He also had a special fondness for all his pets. What meant most to him was time spent with family and friends. The love and fellowship they enjoyed together and the precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever.
A kind and loving husband, father, step-father, son, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, MO. A private committal will take place at a later date.
