OBITUARY Claudette Helene Wishnask-Phillips of Olathe, KS departed this life at her home on Sunday, June 11, 2023, having reached the age of eighty-four years, six months and nineteen days. Claudette was born in St. Louis, MO on November 23, 1938, daughter of Paul Bosler and Helene Francis Bosler nee Scheid. In September of 1957 she was united in marriage to Vincent Wishnask. On February 14, 1996 she was united in marriage to Paul Charles Phillips. Claudette is survived by six children, Tamara Jones of Olathe, KS, Veronica Krolak and husband, Dave, of Union, MO, Mark Wishnask and wife, Mel, of St. Clair, MO, Andrea Reynolds and husband, Merle, of CO, Tressa Neely and husband, Mark, of Jackson, MO and Deanna Wirt and husband, Mike, of St. Clair, MO; by five grandchildren, Dustin Reynolds, Noelle Neely, Andrew Neely and wife, Megan, Michael Wirt and wife, Stephanie and Melissa Wirt; by her great-grandson, Ethan Vernaci; by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Claudette was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helene Bosler; by her husbands, Vincent Wishnask and Paul Phillips; by one daughter, Lisa Wishnask; by her sister, LaVerne Bosler; by her brother, Clifford Bosler; by her son-in-law, Brian Jones; and by one grandchild, Michael Mueller. Claudette was a Christian and had attended various churches throughout her life and had participated in Christian counseling. She was employed by Mercy Home Health Care as a caregiver for about five years. Claudette was a past member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed dancing, exercising and was always trying a different diet. She also loved to go shopping and go to various restaurants with her daughters, especially to Rothchilds every Tuesday for crème pops. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
