Grant was born in Jefferson City, MO on July 26, 1939, son of Charles Harold Leslie, known to all as "Pat", and Irene Leslie nee Birkenmayer. On January 18, 1964 he was united in marriage to Susan Frances Pfaff and two children came to bless this union. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Irene Leslie; by his sister, Margo Hoeman; and by his sister-in-law, Marilyn Olms. Grant was a Christian and member of St. John United Church of Christ in St. Clair, MO. During his working career he was employed as an X-Ray Technician at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, MO for over five years. Afterwards went into medical sales for Elscint Tomography in Haifa, Israel for fifteen years and then to Mobil X-ray. He never really retired from his work. He cared about his company and clients and for him it was more than just business. Having his degree from the "school of hard knocks", he never burned his bridges and followed through with whatever he was doing. Grant loved fixing things with his hands and was never wasteful. He also enjoyed his fishing trips to Minnesota every year, going boating on the Lake of the Ozarks and having barbeques with family and friends. What meant most to him was time spent with family and he was always there for them for whatever they needed. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2023 at St. John United church of Christ in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Laura Mignerone officiating.
