OBITUARY Charles Edward Hufendick, Jr. of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Creve Coeur, MO on Monday, October 28, 2024, having reached the age of fifty-five years, two months and eleven days. Charles was born in St. Louis, MO on August 17, 1969, son of Charles Edward Hufendick, Sr. and Anita Hufendick nee Scroggins. On July 7, 2014 he was united in marriage to Lois Eileen Donaldson and their families were joined as one. Charles is survived by his wife, Lois Donaldson of St. Clair, MO; by his children, Charles "Chucky" Hufendick, III of Cuba, MO and Brittany Boda and husband, Chris, of Newburg, MO; by his step-children, Sean Stanley of St. Louis, MO, Zachary Stanley and wife, Leah, of St. Louis, MO and Jack Stanley of St. Clair, MO; by one brother, Sam Zambrzuski of Potosi, MO; by six sisters, Teresa Beane and husband, Jason, of Dallas, NC, Carolyn Rivera-Cruz and husband, Fernando, of Gastonia, NC, Maggie Corson and husband, Darren, of Bourbon, MO, Ashley Litton and husband, Nathan, of Potosi, MO, Jessica Nichols of Potosi, MO and Laura Gerren and husband, Nicholas, Sr., of Leasburg, MO; by his grandchildren, Andrew Boda and Andrea Boda; by aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Scroggins; by one brother, Jack Hufendick; and by two sisters, Lisa Hobbs and Leanna Hobbs. Charles was a Christian and believed in the Lord as his Savior. During his working career he was employed as an assistant manager of a plant that manufactured hats. Charles was an outdoorsman at heart that loved to hunt, especially for deer, turkey and rabbits. He was passionate about archery and had even participated in competitive shooting. What meant most to him was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, son, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, November 1, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Raymond Laramore officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park in St. Clair, MO. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
