OBITUARY Charles Joseph Dierker, known to all as Joe, of Lonedell, MO departed this life in Sullivan, MO on Thursday, July 4, 2024, having reached the age of seventy-nine years, three months and twenty-six days. Joe was born in Washington, MO on March 8, 1945, son of Nelson Francis Dierker and Glenis Mae Dierker nee Wieda. On March 7, 1981 he was united in marriage Karen Sue Ford. Joe is survived by his wife, Karen Dierker of Lonedell, MO; by his sons, Michael Dierker of St. Clair, MO and John Paul Dierker and wife, Dawn, of Lonedell, MO; by his daughter, Laura Francisco and husband, Richard, of Cedar Hill, MO; by his brother, Dave Dierker and wife, Rose, of Lonedell, MO; by his brother-in-law, Chuck Ford and wife, Vickie, of Greenwood, IN; by his sisters-in-law, Kathy Litalien and husband, Jim, of Harrisville, UT and Teresa Flory and husband, Jeff, of Vincennes, IN; by twelve grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Faith and Kristi Francisco, Cody, Branden, Destiny, Leah, Mylee, Logan, Myah and Tristen Dierker; five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Glenis Dierker. Joe was a Christian and member of Prospect Baptist Church in Lonedell, MO. During his working career he was a heavy equipment operator, working primarily out of the union hall of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513 in Bridgeton, MO. Joe loved to travel, but farming was his true passion. What meant most to him was spending time with his family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Dick Hinson and Pastor John Pursley officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell, MO. Memorials may be made to Prospect Cemetery or National Kidney Foundation.
