She had a zest for life, never met a stranger and always had words of encouragement for others. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Festus and active in several activities there. Carol loved the Lord and didn’t hesitate to share her faith. Well known for placing religious tracts in her Christmas cards and handing out literature and bibles at every opportunity. She loved spending time deer hunting when she was still able and always wanted to know when others were successful in their hunts. Her family and friends will miss her laughter, pecan muffins and the many jokes she was famous for telling to anyone that would listen.
A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
