Bruce Edward Gratzer of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, having reached the age of sixty-six years, six months and nine days. Bruce was born in Washington, MO on January 21, 1959, son of Bernard Robert Gratzer, Sr. and Beulah Maxine Gratzer nee Tate. On September 2, 1978 he was united in marriage to Leann dean Maness and three daughters came to bless this union. Bruce is survived by his daughters, Loriann Glass and husband, Bruce, of St. Clair, MO, Stephanie Levvintre and husband, Mitchel, of St. Clair, MO and Danielle Gratzer and significant other, Christine, of St. Clair, MO; by one brother, William "Bill" Gratzer, Sr. and wife, Lori, of St. Clair, MO; by his grandchildren, Kellen, Kole, Elliot, Trenton, Allyson, Jaxon, Ezra, Maverick, with Conrad on the way; many nieces and nephews, many great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard, Sr. and Beulah Gratzer; by his wife, Leann Gratzer; by his brother, Bob Gratzer; and by his sister-in-law, Sally Gratzer. Bruce was a Christian and member of United Methodist church in St. Clair, MO. during his working career he was employed by Wright's Tree Service for many years as well as Gratzer Brothers Construction. He was a proud member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2 for many years and was very proud to have served as shop steward for five years. He had also recently become a member of Elk's Lodge #2651 in St. Clair, MO. Bruce enjoyed going fishing and playing golf. He also enjoyed woodworking and watching the History Channel on television. His children, and especially his grandchildren, held a very special place in his heart, as he did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great and great-great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will take place at a later date at Elk's Lodge #2651 in St. Clair, MO. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Franklin County Foster Closet or Burn Unit @ Shriner's Hospital for Children. The family entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
