OBITUARY Betty June Boyer of Grubville, MO departed this life in St. Clair, MO on Friday, May 30, 2025, having reached the age of eighty-nine years, nine months and twenty-one days. Betty was born in Luebbering, MO on August 9, 1935, daughter of Arthur Silas Lee and Catherine Marie Lee nee Dierker. On February 23, 1963 she was united in marriage to Edward Thomas Boyer and two daughters came to bless this union. Betty is survived by her daughters, Melissa Jones and husband, John, of Robertsville, MO and Melinda Boyer and boyfriend, Sam Cartwright, of Luebbering, MO; by one brother, Allan Lee and girlfriend, Helen, of Grubville, MO; by her grandchildren, Amanda Jones and husband, Steven and Katy Pendleton and husband, Luke, both of Robertsville, MO; by her great-grandchildren, Silas, Beatrice, Ethan, Ella, Emily, Elisha and John Henry; by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Catherine Lee; by her husband, Edward Boyer; by her infant daughter, Bonnie Boyer; and by one brother, Robert Lee. Betty was a Christian, having been raised in the Methodist faith and believing in the Lord as her Savior. During her working career she was employed by Deb Shoe Company in St. Clair, MO for ten years and then made caring for her home and family her priority in life. She loved doing crochet, going fishing, gambling and cooking. Betty also loved to work in her flower garden, go to Branson with her dog Bobbie and feed and watch the birds. What meant most to her was time spent with family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created together will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Raymond Laramore officiating. Interment will be in Luebbering Citizens Community Cemetery in Grubville, MO.
