OBITUARY Betsy Marie Hutchings, 41, of St. Clair, Missouri, passed away on March 4, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1983, in St. Clair to Bradley Ray Hutchings and the late Linda Sue Hutchings (nee Thompson). Betsy is survived by her son, Tyler Leach; by her significant other, John Eftink; by her father, Bradley Ray Hutchings, and wife, Sherry Hutchings; by her sister, Connie Hutchings, and brother-in-law, Dustin Musgrove; as well as her cherished nephew, Collin Musgrove, and niece, Isabella Musgrove; and by her step-siblings, Justin Immel and Rachel Immel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Sue Hutchings. Known for her vibrant spirit, Betsy had a passion for life that shone through in her hobbies and relationships. An avid reader of Stephen King novels, she often found solace in the pages of a good book. She loved the open road, and taking rides on the Harley Davidson, and spent countless joyful hours boating and swimming on Lake St. Clair. Betsy's loyal companion, her dog Harley, was always by her side, sharing in her adventures. With a smile that could light up a room and a joke for every occasion, she brought laughter and warmth to everyone she met. Betsy took great pride in her work as a lunch lady at St. Clair High School, where she nourished both the bodies and spirits of the students with her kind heart and playful humor. A celebration of Betsy's life will be held at a later date. Betsy's legacy of love, laughter, and living life to the fullest will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
