Barbara Dale "Bobbie" Brown Obituary Barbara Dale "Bobbie" Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 15, 2024, in Ozark, MO, at the age of 77. She was born on February 21, 1946, in Defiance, MO, and was raised in Beaufort, MO. Bobbie attended Union High School in Union, MO, graduating with the Class of 1964. Bobbie is survived by her devoted son, Mike Brown, and his wife Debbie Brown of Nixa, MO; her loving daughter, Stacey Brown of St. Clair, MO; her cherished grandson, Collin Brown of Nixa, MO; her sister Betty Anderson of St. Charles, MO; sister Peggy Patrick of Bloomfield, MO; sister Sally Gerheauser, and her husband Ed Gerheauser of Huntsville, AL; brother Jim Brown and his wife Joyce Brown of St. Clair, MO; brother-in-law Arlie Ehlman of St. Louis, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and cherished loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Brown; her sister Cleo Ehlman of Barnhart, MO; sister Stella Hinson and her husband Ken of St. Clair, MO; sister Sherry Nappier and husband Richard of St. Clair, MO; brother John Brown of Beaufort, MO; brother Joseph Brown of Cedar Hill, MO; brother-in-law Tom Anderson of St. Charles, MO; and brother-in-law Dempsey Patrick of Bloomfield, MO. Bobbie was a longtime member of Zion United Church of Christ in Union, MO. Throughout her career, she worked as a teaching aide at Clark-Vitt Jr. High in Union, MO, and later as a bookkeeper/head checker at IGA Grocery in St. Clair, MO. Family was always Bobbie's number one priority. She attended every game, event, and program her children participated in, providing unwavering support and care. Bobbie was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards with close friends in her card club, and loved cooking for everyone. She was also a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Bobbie will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness, love, and generosity. She treasured people and was known for her caring and giving nature. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service to celebrate Bobbie's life will be held at The Franklin County Baptist Association Building, 785 Butterfield Dr., Union, Missouri on Saturday March 9th, with Visitation beginning at 10am; Memorial Service starts at noon, luncheon to follow.
