OBITUARY
Alice Louise Generally of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Lee’s Summit, MO on Thursday, August 27, 2026, having reached the age of eighty years, three months and twelve days. Alice was born in St. Clair, MO on May 15, 1946, daughter of Clyde Cornelius Oneal Generally and Alberta Marie Generally nee Hinkle.
Alice is survived by her children, Katharine Collins and husband, Randy, of Lee’s Summit, MO, Aaron Terry and wife, Dawn, of Edwardsville, IL and Tyrel Hawkins and wife, Stephenie, of St. Clair, MO; by her step-children, Cheryl Hasenbeck and husband, Philip, of Lonedell, MO, Vernon Hawkins, Jr. of St. Clair, MO and John Hawkins of Sullivan, MO; by her brothers, Larry Generally and wife, Lisa, of Lee’s Summit, MO and Kevin Generally of Florida; by nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Alberta Generally and her grandson, Jamal Hopkins.
Alice was a Christian and long-time member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Robertsville, MO. During her working career she had worked for her dad at Clyde Generally Sanitary Refuse Service and as a bus driver for the St. Clair school district. Alice enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of her flowers, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles. She especially loved family get-togethers and cooking. What meant most to her was time spent with family. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, as she did in theirs. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever.
A kind and loving mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO with Rev. Billy Brison officiating. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Robertsville, MO. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
