Ronald Glenn Bragg

August 14, 1965 - April 17, 2022

OBITUARY Ronald Glenn Bragg, know to most as Ron, of St. Clair, MO departed this life at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on April 17, 2022, having reached the age of fifty-six years, eight months and three days. Ron was born in St. Louis, MO on August 14, 1965, son of Gerald Junior Bragg and Bertha Mae Bragg nee Nation. On August 4, 1990 he was united in marriage to Erin Colleen McLafferty and two children came to bless this union. Ron is survived by his wife, Erin Bragg of St. Clair, MO; by his children, Veronica Flora and husband, J.T., of St. Clair, MO and Hunter Bragg of St. Clair, MO; by his grandchildren, Kanton and Raeleigh Flora, both of St. Clair, MO; by his mother, Bertha Bragg of Eureka, MO; by his parents-in-law, Virginia Brown of St. Clair, MO and Fred McLafferty and wife, Shelia, of St. Charles, MO; by his sister, Lisa Hancock and husband, Jeff, of Crocker, MO; by aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Bragg. Ron was a Christian and had been attending The Compass Ministries in Union, MO. During his working career he was a proud member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 513 in Bridgeton, MO, retiring from the union after thirty years. He was employed as a field supervisor for Kelpe Contracting in Wildwood, MO. He had a variety of interest throughout his life but was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved to go fishing, especially bow fishing, hunting and camping. What meant most to him was time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. The love they shared and the many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the Franklin County Baptist Association. A private committal will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family of Ronald Glenn Bragg entrusted the care of their loved one to Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
