October 24, 1988 - February 1, 2022

OBITUARY Michael Wayne Holden, Jr. of St. Clair, MO departed this life in St. Louis, MO on February 1, 2022, having reached the age of thirty-three years, three months and eight days. Michael was born in St. Louis, MO on October 24, 1988, son of Michael Wayne Holden, Sr. and Lisa Marie Holden nee Ashworth. On September 10, 2011 he was united in marriage to Ashley Elizabeth Kohler and three children came to bless this union. Michael is survived by his wife, Ashley Holden of St. Clair, MO; by his children, Mckinley, Emersyn and Peyton Holden, all of St. Clair, MO; by his parents, Michael, Sr. and Lisa Holden of Lonedell, MO; by his parents-in-law, Jeff and Sheryl Kohler of St. Clair, MO; by his grandparents, Brenda Bay of Lonedell, MO and Fareley Holden and wife, Deborah, of Lonedell, MO; by his brother-in-law, Jason James and wife, Sheila, of St. Clair, MO; by his sister-in-law, Stephanie Mogg and husband, Chris, of St. Clair, MO; by aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles, two nieces, seven nephews, cousins and many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Marie Holden; by his grandparents, John Bay and Ruth Holden. Michael was a Christian and member of Life Stream Church in Washington, MO. He was employed by Jim Trenary Chevrolet Buick GMC in Union, MO as an internet sales director, serving the company for about fifteen years. His job just wasn’t a job to him, it was his life. He loved putting up Christmas lights during the holiday season, camping and being on the river and playing cards. Going on the Kohler family vacations was always special time for him. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and was very proud of his new lawn mower. What meant most to him was time spent with his family, especially his children. The love they shared and the many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. A kind and loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, grandson, brother-in-law, nephew, great-nephew, uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Life Stream Church in Washington, MO with Rev. Paul Scheperle officiating. Interment was in Brush Creek Cemetery in Gray Summitt, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
